Scrappy Side Table

I hate waste. But I create so much of it. It is a battle I am constantly fighting as a designer. I want to create something new and exciting but I want it to be loved and used and not tossed in the trash.

I want to renovate our bathroom — it’s not a must but a strong desire as it needs some sprucing, for my liking at least. However, I feel bad for creating waste especially waste of the materials that are still in decent shape. So, I came up with a plan, a plan to reuse at least a couple tiles, some door trim and a handful of other wood scraps around our house.

This ‘scrappy’ side table turned out pretty great if I do say so myself. I didn’t plan on keeping it — but it has been working pretty great as an outdoor ‘patio’ table so far.
